**Driver Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Represent Hendra Moving & Storage in a friendly & professional manner by being respectful, helpful, and accommodating towards our clients, their homes & belongings.
- Safe driving practices and performing daily truck inspections.
- Ability to use GPS and track truck’s movements.
- Checking Fuel & cleaning up truck at the end of the day.
- Understand and abide by company policies and procedures.
- Assemble & disassemble items, Wrap & Unwrap furniture as needed.
- Load and unload the moving truck.
- Move all items without damage to the items or home.

**Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities**
- Fast-paced environment
- Good Hand-eye co-ordination
- Work under pressure

**Qualifications**:

- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Class 5, Class 3, or Class 1 with a clean Driver’s Abstract.
- Moving experience preferred, but not required
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more on a regular basis throughout the day.
- Punctual, Reliable, Team-player with focus on customer service.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Seasonal

**Salary**: $21.00-$23.00 per hour

Additional pay:

- Bonus pay
- Tips

Flexible language requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Saanichton, BC V8M1Z7: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- delivery driving: 1 year (preferred)
