We are currently looking for a capable and dependable Electrical Estimator with the primary responsibility of preparing estimates for commercial and industrial projects.

**What you’ll do**:

- Prepare estimates for commercial and industrial electrical projects.
- Calculate takeoff based upon drawings and blueprints.
- Interpret documentation, specifications, and drawings.
- Calculate labour and material costs for projects.
- Work with management to prepare final quotes.
- Finalize and compile tender documents for review and submissions.
- Ability to work with a variety of talented teams; team skills are an integral part of the position as you will require multiple departments within the organization to execute the work being bid.

**What you’ll need**:

- Electrical background with experience on commercial and industrial projects.
- Automation experience is an asset.
- 2+ years electrical estimating experience.
- Strong business development and project management skills (preferred).
- Journeyman electrician ticket or engineering technologist (preferred) with strong computer skills.
- Ability to work alone or in a team.

Hours of Work

Hours of work will typically be Monday to Friday 8am - 4:30pm. Overtime and weekends if demands deem necessary.
