We are looking for talented, enthusiastic Produce Department Manager who is recognized for providing great customer service and driving sales. They will also be passionate about dazzling our customers with exceptional shopping experiences

As a Produce Department Manager, your work will have an immediate impact on sales and customer satisfaction. You will be tasked with: supervising department production by ensuring product quality and compliance with standards; organizing work for department employees based on operational needs; ensuring merchandizing is implemented in the store and making department orders; checking and monitoring inventory; and enforcing sales-floor hygiene and safety standards as well as company policies and standards. Perform any other tasks the role and/or your supervisor requires.

**Qualifications**:

- Well-developed skills in leading and motivating a team and a desire for self-development;
- Problem-solving skills, an ability to react and make decisions;
- A good listener with demonstrable communication skills and an advocate for change;
- Well-developed skills for providing first-rate training and motivating people;
- A talent for organizing and planning in order to ensure the store’s needs are met;
- Sound administrative skills;
- The ability to prioritize and achieve results;
- A constant drive to provide a high quality of service and product and ensure customer needs are met;
- Dynamism, creativity and a sense of responsibility and initiative.

Experience
- A minimum of two years’ experience in the retail sector;
- Knowledge and experience relating to the role (an asset).

**Requirements**:

- Availability to work to a flexible schedule to ensure company operational requirements are met (includes evenings and weekends);
- Able to carry out heavy lifting and work in cold conditions;
- Knowledge of software programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access Via) and good IT proficiency.
