General Labourer

Job Summary

The labourer works under the direction of the Project Manager and carpenters to meet the project’s expected goals. The labourer will work in the warehouse and on-site, depending on the work being completed.

Job Responsibilities
- Maintaining professionalism and presenting Downs Construction positively
- Demonstrating skill in the safe operation of hand and power tools
- Following all company policies and standards
- Completing all necessary documentation
- Practicing good housekeeping on the job and in the warehouse
- Dealing with a changing work environment daily
- Assisting all staff with day-to-day site operations
- Completing jobs in an efficient and timely manner

Job Requirements
- Valid BC drivers’ license
- Detail oriented
- Ability to work well alone or as part of a team
- Knowledge of workplace safety standards
- Legally authorized to work in Canada
- Available for on-call after hours emergencies

Pay: $22.00-$28.00 per hour
