Quik's Farm Ltd. is a wholesale cut flower grower based in Chilliwack, BC, with over 20 acres of indoor and an additional 20 acres of seasonal outdoor growing space. Quik’s Farm is geared towards the intense production of cut Chrysanthemums, Oriental Lilies, Alstroemeria, and other seasonal crops utilizing state-of-the-art growing systems and leading-edge technology to produce high quality products for our diverse customer base throughout Western Canada and the Pacific Northwest USA.
We are looking for a motivated Sales Manager to lead the Sales department. This position offers you the opportunity to fill a key leadership position at the head of our dynamic, fun-loving, and growing sales team. By utilizing strong people skills, you will effectively manage the primary sales efforts to our Mass Market customers, selling quality fresh cut flowers to retailers across North America. Adhering closely to sales budgets, you will oversee a group of Account Managers and Customer Service reps, maintaining the highest standards of customer service our customers have come to expect from Quik’s Farm Ltd.
To ensure success as a Sales Manager, you will possess excellent interpersonal skills focused on maintaining and building relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. You will also demonstrate a great team-player attitude and a keen interest in selling highly qualitative floral products. As an outstanding team member, your attention to detail directly contributes to a first-class customer experience and respected reputation amongst peers. This position reports directly to the Business Development Manager.
**Duties & Responsibilities**:
- Developing and implementing effective sales strategies.
- Analyzing sales data to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Represent the company effectively with comprehensive knowledge of our products.
- Oversee the sales department in a leadership capacity.
- Ability and willingness to develop skills continuously for hiring, training, and team leadership to ensure they are using effective sales tactics to meet organizational objectives.
- Achieve company objectives by planning thoroughly, setting sales goals, analyzing performance data, and forecasting.
- Ensure that company quotas are being met by holding check-ins and regular meetings with the sales and management team members to set objectives and monitor progress.
- Develop and track sales budgets, manage costing exercises, and oversee program development
**Qualifications & Requirements**:
- Time Management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize.
- 3-5 years of experience in sales management experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, and presentation skills.
- Superb leadership skills to effectively manage and lead the sales team.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required due to business needs.
- Proven success rate at maintaining levels above sales quotas
- Work Experience: 3-5 years' experience in a sales role is required and at least one year in a managerial capacity. Relative experience in the horticultural industry will be considered a strong asset.
**Education**: A bachelor’s degree in accounting, business administration, economics, sales & marketing, or a related field.
**Language**: Must be fluent in English language.
Pay: $95,000.00-$115,000.00 per year
