**Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Plan and coordinate all aspects of events, including logistics, catering, and guest services.
- Develop event marketing strategies to promote upcoming events effectively.
- Negotiate contracts with vendors, venues, and suppliers to secure the best terms.
- Manage event budgets to ensure financial objectives are met.
- Upsell additional services or products to clients to enhance their event experience.
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the planning process and during events.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure all details are executed according to plan.
- Oversee on-site event management, ensuring everything runs smoothly from setup to teardown.
- Conduct post-event evaluations to assess success and areas for improvement.

**Skills**
- Strong negotiation skills to secure favorable agreements with vendors and venues.
- Proficient in marketing techniques related to event promotion and audience engagement.
- Experience in upselling services or products related to events or hospitality.
- Knowledge of event planning processes from conception through execution.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on client satisfaction.
- Exceptional time management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Comprehensive understanding of events management principles and best practices.
- Proficient in budgeting and financial management related to event planning.
- Outstanding communication skills for effective collaboration with clients and team members.
- Strong organizational skills to manage various aspects of events efficiently.
- Experience in banquet operations or catering services is preferred.
- Familiarity with contracts and legal aspects of event planning is beneficial.
- Background in restaurant or hotel experience is a plus for understanding hospitality dynamics.
- Knowledge of fundraising strategies may be advantageous for specific events.

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract

Pay: $4,000.00-$5,500.00 per month
