**Job Title**: Intermediate Financial Analyst (Contract)
**Location**: Scarborough, ON (Hybrid - 3 days/week onsite)
**Contract Duration**: Until April 24, 2026 (Potential for extension or renewal)

**About the Role**:
We are seeking a highly analytical and self-motivated **Intermediate Financial Analyst** to support a range of exciting initiatives within our Media Direct-to-Consumer business unit. This role offers the opportunity to work on high-impact projects, contribute to financial operations, and collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT and project management.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide financial support for **Media Direct-to-Consumer** project initiatives, including project calls, timeline tracking, report development, testing, and data analysis for product launches.
- Participate in **finance automation initiatives**, helping to streamline and improve current processes.
- Prepare **revenue journal entries** and assist with the **month-end close process**.
- Complete **account reconciliations** and **subscriber revenue remittance processing** in a timely and accurate manner.
- Manage **subscriber cash processing** and support **daily financial operations**.
- Perform data downloads and analyses from various vendor portals.
- Collaborate with IT to develop and enhance **MicroStrategy reports** and participate in user testing.
- Contribute to **automation of manual processes** and support ongoing **process improvements**.
- Take on **ad-hoc tasks** and reporting as assigned.

**About You**:
You’re an experienced financial professional with a strong analytical mindset and a passion for optimizing and automating financial processes. You're independent, organized, and thrive in fast-paced, project-oriented environments.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum **3 years of experience** in an accounting or finance environment.
- Proven experience with **data mining** and working with large datasets.
- Strong **analytical and problem-solving skills**.
- **Advanced Excel** and **PowerPoint** skills.
- Familiarity with **finance automation** tools and techniques.
- Proficiency in **SAP**, **MicroStrategy**, and **Alteryx**.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.

**Day-to-Day Snapshot**:

- Attend project and team calls

- Manage subscriber revenue processing and cash reconciliation
- Drive automation and process improvement efforts

Pay: $37.00-$42.00 per hour
