**Duties**
- Provide a positive, safe and nurturing environment for children in playschool and after school care.
- Work respectfully with others
- Assist with toilet training
- Build positive connection with families
- Follow child care regulations
- Follow all health and safety guidelines and protocols

**Experience**
- Level one or higher in the ECE field is a must
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices
- Ability to engage and interact with children of various ages
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with children

**Skills**:

- Ability to provide support for the child in an Out of School Care setting.
- Experience with Children: Previous experience working with children, understanding their developmental needs, and providing appropriate care is an asset.
- Early Childhood Education: Knowledge of early childhood education principles, theories, and best practices.
- Caregiving: Ability to provide nurturing care to children, ensuring their safety, well-being, and emotional needs are met.
- Quick on your feet
- Good at reading non verbal cues

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $17.50-$20.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Strathmore, AB T1P 1E3: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Criminal record check including vulnerable sector check (required)
- Level one or higher in ECE (required)

Work Location: In person
