Daycare Director

We are seeking an experienced and motivated **Level 3 Director** to lead and support our childcare program. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who is passionate about early learning, team support, and high-quality program delivery.

**Position Overview**:
The Director will oversee the daily operations of the program, support educators in the classrooms, and manage administrative responsibilities to ensure smooth and compliant program operations.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Oversee day-to-day program operations
- Support and assist staff within classrooms as needed
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to educators
- Submit child-care claims and complete required documentation
- Manage administrative tasks related to licensing, funding, and program compliance
- Communicate effectively with families
- Ensure a safe, inclusive, and developmentally appropriate learning environment

**Qualifications**:

- Valid **Level 3 Early Childhood Educator Certification** (required)
- CPR/First Aid Certification (required)
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience (required)
- Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills
- Ability to balance classroom support with administrative duties
- Knowledge of Alberta childcare regulations and funding programs

Pay: $21.00-$23.00 per hour
