We’re on the lookout for passionate and knowledgeable individuals to join our team and contribute to our thriving Plant Department.

**Position: Plant Room Staff**

Are you a dedicated plant enthusiast looking to turn your passion into a career? At Tails and Scales, our Plant Department is expanding, and we’re seeking individuals with strong plant care skills to join our team. In this role, you’ll assist customers with their plant needs, handle plant propagation and repotting, and manage other essential tasks. If you’re eager to learn about new plant varieties and expand your knowledge, we’d love to hear from you

**Responsibilities**:

- **Plant Care**: Water, monitor, and maintain the health of our diverse plant selection. Address any plant issues promptly to ensure they remain in top condition.
- **Sales & Customer Service**: Assist customers in selecting the right plants for their needs, process sales transactions, and handle both phone and in-person inquiries.
- **Propagation & Repotting**: Help with plant propagation and repotting to keep our plant offerings fresh and vibrant.
- **Packing & Shipping**: Pack plants securely for shipping to ensure they arrive in excellent condition.
- **Inventory Management**: Help with inventory control and ensure that all plant displays are well-organized and attractive.

**What We’re Looking For**:

- A strong background in plant care with hands-on experience in plant propagation and repotting.
- Eagerness to learn about new plant varieties and expand your knowledge.
- Previous retail experience and familiarity with computer systems are advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor to provide exceptional customer service.
- Reliability, a strong work ethic, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong time-management skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
