Aerial Hoop Coach

We are looking for a friendly, positive and enthusiastic coach to teach aerial Hoop to kids, teens and adults

For this job, you will need to:

- Love working with people all ages and all levels.
- Have good class management skills and understand how to re-engage children in a positive way.
- Be a great multi-tasker with experience coaching aerial or a similar activity
- Understand how to provide constant feedback, corrections and encouragement to your students to help them grow.
- Be able to adapt to our level system, follow lesson plans and have the ability to create lesson plans when required.
- Guide participants through the creation process to create routines and acts for parent shows.
- Take attendance & Skill track your students regularly with the Jackrabbit software
- Have full knowledge of our Level 1-5 Hoop Curriculum
- Experience with static trapeze an asset, but not required

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 1 year experience coaching hoop or complete knowledge of our aerial Level 1-5 level system
- Fully vaccinated against Covid-19
- Current Standard First Aid & CPR (or proof of enrolment in a course)
- NCCP Gymnastics Foundations (or willing to obtain within 6 months)
- Vulnerable Sector Background Check (required at time of hiring)

**Availability (Please let us know which shifts you're available for)**:

- Saturdays 9am-1pm
- Saturdays 1pm-5pm
- Start date: As soon as possible

Eligible for standard employee benefits including vacation pay and stat holiday pay and some open gym training included.

$22.25-$30/hour

**Salary**: $22.25-$30.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Evening shift
- Weekend availability

COVID-19 considerations:
Covid protocols in place.
Screening required for all staff & participants prior to each visit.
Masks, social distancing and increased cleaning may be re-implemented if needed
