As our business is expanding, we are welcoming a new permanent full-time editor to join us.

**Main Duties**

l Plan, read, edit and evaluate contents to be posted on our platform;
l Ensure all content and style meets company’s editorial policy and publishing requirements;
l Oversee layout and allocate space for text, photos, and illustrations using knowledge of layout principles;
l Coordinate and manage work schedule to ensure timely completion of all digital and paper publications;
l Plan, schedule and arrange work tasks for upcoming productions;
l Confer with contract & staff writers for revisions;
l Manage and edit contents to cater to readers’ requirement;
l Evaluate submissions from writers to decide on appropriateness & priorities;
l Work with marketing staff to prepare promotional materials for both company and clients;
**Requirements**:
Post-Secondary education is preferred;
Over 2 years of direct related work experience in editing, writing or publishing is required;
Ability to create compelling content;
Ability to work in fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment;
Strong knowledge in New Media publication;
Adequate English reading is required;
Experience in reporting news and business will be an asset;
Experience in online media and social media account management is an asset;
Experience in leading report teams and exploring trending topics will be an asset;

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $28.00 per hour
