About the Anatomic Medicine Foundation
The Anatomic Medicine Foundation is a nonprofit organization based in British Columbia, dedicated to improving pain care through research, education, and training in myoActivation – a safe, effective, drug-free treatment for chronic myofascial pain. We are currently expanding and updating our educational resources and seeking a skilled contractor to support the editing and design of our Level 1 curriculum materials.
Role Summary
We are hiring a contract
Curriculum
Editor & Visual Content Creator
to support the review and reformatting of our myoActivation Level 1 guide and associated reading materials. The goal is to improve content clarity, flow, visual presentation, and learning effectiveness for clinical learners. This role involves copy editing, document formatting, visual content creation (graphics or images), and collaboration with AMF reviewers.
Key Responsibilities
· Edit and format existing Word-based training materials (Level 1 guides and prereading)
· Ensure consistent voice, structure, terminology, and visual appeal
· Create or adapt 20–25 images or illustrations to support learning (e.g., anatomical visuals)
· Embed hyperlinks for educational videos and ensure layout compatibility
· Align prereading materials with updated curriculum content
· Collaborate with AMF reviewers through check-in meetings and draft reviews
Ideal Candidate Has:
· Strong editing and formatting skills
· Experience in health, medical, or technical editing preferred
· Ability to create or adapt visuals (AI tools, drawing tools, or image software)
· Excellent communication and project tracking
· Ability to work independently and manage timelines remotely
· Strong verbal and written communication skills in English are required

$30–$40 per hour (depending on experience), to a maximum of 80 hours
