**Position Status**: Full Time (30-40 hours/week) Seasonal, Hourly

Seasonal positions can be differentiated from year round jobs as the have predefined start and end dates. These dates may vary due to seasonal business fluctuations.

**What you’ll be doing**:

- Ensure safety procedures and policies are followed while work is performed, according to WCB and Company Policy.
- Maintain a tidy work area at all times.
- Perform outdoor work in all types of weather and locations.
- Work a variety of different shifts as required.
- You will occasionally be required to work overtime through breaks to finish work.
- Work professionally with the public and all departments at all times.
- Must be a TEAM PLAYER, which includes always willing to lend a hand.
- Work with other carpenters and helpers on various projects on Whistler Blackcomb property.
- Fill out work orders, daily sheets as required.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Always show up on time, in uniform, and adhere to the grooming policy

**Qualifications**:

- Experience in the carpentry trade is an asset
- Experience painting is an asset
- Experience and comfortable using tools
- Must be able to work at a high level without supervision
- Operational knowledge of Whistler Blackcomb an asset
- A valid B.C. Driver’s License and able to provide a satisfactory “N”-Print driver’s abstract is an asset
- Strong communication skills a definite asset
- Required to complete a satisfactory criminal record check
- Capable of lifting 25 kg (50lbs)
