Supervisors ensure that our clients receive the service we promise through personal inspections, scheduling periodic tasks, training staff on cleaning procedures, supplies and equipment, and ensuring prompt response to our client's requests. Job Description - Supervisor Reporting to: Contract Manager, Operations Manager To ensure our on-site services are performed to customer satisfaction including: - Ensure all staff have proper training to perform job duties efficiently and safely. - Ensure paperwork is completed with security clearance before the employee starts working. - No one will be expected to work during training and not be paid for their time. - Ensure all staff are paid for hours worked on a timely basis. No hours will be paid to employees who did not work them. Report daily to Manager on any staffing changes compared to schedule. - Ensure all janitor rooms and equipment are clean. - Ensure all jobsites are supplied with proper cleaning chemicals and janitorial supplies including monthly order/inventory, packing slips, dilution and labeling - Be familiar with the Company Rules, Regulations, Procedures, issuing discipline, etc. - Report daily on any unusual workplace incidents including employee relations, injuries, security issues, damage etc. - Respond ASAP to all instructions from Company management and/or clients. - Perform regular inspections and fix deficiencies to Company standard. - Maintain equipment, in good working order and arrange for repair or replacement as necessary. Conduct annual fixed asset check. - Adjust staff workloads as necessary for absences, vacant space, etc. and report to Manager. - Check on all special client requests in person to ensure duties completed satisfactorily or report immediately as to why unable to check in person. - Perform monthly Crew Talks, conduct janitor room/cart inspections, verify supply counts for first aid kits, check expiries in MSDS binder and eye wash stations. - Be aware of contract periodically scheduled tasks and sign off when complete or deferred. - Submit all paperwork as soon as possible to the Contract Manager. - Shared responsibility for on-site Health and Safety matters including injury prevention, accident investigations, maintenance of current MSDS, etc. - Attend meetings and training sessions as directed. - Adhere to dress guidelines for Supervisors. - Participate in employee recognition programs as directed. - Any other duties as necessary to ensure the efficient performance and success of the Company's business.
