**Position Overview**:
Under the direction of the Addiction Services Manager, the Aftercare Worker will provide educational and activity group sessions, and referral and liaison services with community resources, for clients who have previously completed treatment either at Dilico’s Adult Residential Treatment Centre or elsewhere. Aftercare services will be provided consistent with the philosophy, approach, goals and learning environment established by Dilico Anishinabek Family Care.

**Qualifications and Requirements**:

- A minimum of an HBSW is required along with experience in the addictions and mental health field
- Experience in the field of alcoholism and drug addiction as it relates to the Anishinabek
- The provision of individual and group-based aftercare treatment services
- Experience working with Anishinabek people
- Experience facilitating treatment groups
- Satisfactory Criminal Records Search
- Must possess a valid Standard First Aid/CPR Certificate or be willing to obtain one
- Ability to work flexible hours as determined by the Adult Residential Treatment Services Manager or designate in relation to service requirements
- Must possess a Class F Driver’s License or be willing to obtain a Class F license and have access to a personal vehicle
- Must complete a medical and receive the required immunizations as recommended by the local medical officer of health

**Hours of Work**: 35 hours per week
