**Responsibilities include, but are not limited to**:

- Performing pathway processing duties, including daily review and analysis of incoming transcript submissions - liaising with administrative and academic areas regarding the assessment of transfer credit, advanced standing and PLAR requests
- Reviewing student records and program learning requirements to evaluate missing courses which would be necessary for diploma/certificate completion
- Facilitating on-the-spot approval of transfer credit by front line staff
- Coordinating with ONCAT (Ontario Council on Articulation and Transfer) as required
- Keeping abreast of government policies and initiatives related to transferability of students across post-secondary institutions, incorporating current policy into Niagara College processes and advising internal stakeholders, as required
- Maintaining accurate student record keeping in the Student Information System (SIS)
- Receiving, analyzing and reconciling error reports

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum two (2) year diploma in Business, Office Administration or similar field of study
- Minimum three (3) years experience in a customer-service environment, with emphasis on advising clients
- Proven experience managing and maintaining the integrity of data management systems
- Minimum three (3) years experience in a post-secondary environment with a background in Enrolment Services preferred
- Proven abilities in working independently, exercising good judgement and professionalism when interacting with clients
- Excellent communication, analytical, presentation, organizational and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to multi-task and meet deadlines, to problem-solve under pressure within a public environment while supporting a diverse student population
- Strong customer service skills
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Word and Excel at an advanced level is required
- Experience with other computerized systems such as PeopleSoft are definite assets
