**JOB OVERVIEW**

As a Project Manager/Field Coordinator, you'll be at the heart of our operations in Edmonton, balancing technical fieldwork with office and project responsibilities. This hybrid role offers the perfect blend of hands-on project management and client engagement, providing you with the opportunity to make a significant impact on our team's success and client satisfaction. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in our growth plans.
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:
**Office Work**:
- Oversee office resources involved in data processing, calculations, and drafting.
- Address client requests, prepare quotes, and manage project schedules with precision.
- Troubleshoot issues, support field crews, and assist in completing proposals and prequalifications.
- Ensure data accuracy through meticulous processing, calculations, and QA/QC methods.
**Field Work**:
- Lead, mentor, and train technical field staff.
- Engage with client representatives and site employees to ensure our team exceeds client expectations.
- Champion our safety program, actively participating in HSE Programs and conducting safety audits.
- Maintain and care for corporate vehicles, ensuring our resources keep them well-equipped and serviceable.
**General Responsibilities**:
- Develop new and existing opportunities, fostering strong client relationships.
- Ensure all projects are executed to the highest quality, adhering to LN standards and best practices.
- Actively seek out opportunities to grow the operation and contribute to our long-term success.
- Provide expertise in drafting and QA/QC to support project excellence.
- Develop strong relationships with colleagues and support regional operations as needed.
- Oversee field crew scheduling, equipment provisioning, and field data submissions.
**Qualifications, Skills, and Experience**:
- Post-secondary diploma in Geomatics or Civil Engineering.
- Professional Designation an asset, but not required.
- 5+ years of experience in the Geomatics Industry.
- 3+ years of Field Survey Supervisory experience.
- Construction Survey experience is essential.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and Trimble Business Center.
- Valid Class 5 Driver's License (with a clean 5-year abstract).
- Certifications: CSTS, OSSA/BSO, First Aid, and H2S Alive.
- Additional certifications such as Underground/Line Locating and UAV Pilot License are assets.
- Proven experience in managing survey projects and supervising personnel.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and with mínimal supervision.
- Eagerness to learn, take direction, and accept feedback.
- Passion for excellence and attention to detail.
- Desire to train and develop new skills.
- In-depth knowledge of data processing and QA/QC.

**WORK CONDITIONS**
This role will be located in Edmonton, Alberta. The position will be both office and field based, and therefore it requires an individual who is comfortable working outdoors at times, and who is physically fit.
