**Telemarketing Sales Representative - West Coast**
**Duties / Responsibilities**:
- Deliver prepared sales calls, read scripts tailored to catch the attention of the prospects, and drive that conversation to schedule a meeting.
- General understanding of products and services to explain and answer questions from potential customers.
- Obtain customer information such as company name, industry, size, location, key decision-makers, job title/position, and contact information.
- Verify leads by utilizing different researching techniques and tools, such as LinkedIn.
- Adjust sales scripts to better target the needs and interests of specific individuals, companies, or industries.
- Field telephone calls from potential customers who have been solicited through advertisements and other marketing campaigns.
- Maintain detailed records of activities, contacts, accounts, communications/conversations, as well as notes for discussion and review.
**Skills & Experience**:
**Required**:
- Associate’s Degree in Business or related field or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a telemarketing role
- Active Listening — Giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times.
- Network conferencing software — Microsoft Teams; Zoom
- Agile and Flexible - Capable of transitioning between tasks and focusing on multiple workflows in parallel.
**Preferred**:
- Bachelor’s Degree in business or related field or equivalent experience.
- 3 to 5 years working in a B2B environment, with a background in technology and experience selling business solutions, products, or services.
- Ability to proactively research and verify leads in addition to being able to facilitate basic lead generation efforts.
- Kixie calling Experience
- Marketing Tools - SendinBlue, SalesIntel
- Multi-channel contact center software; Dial Pad
