Pewarchuk CPA Inc. is a Chartered Professional Accounting firm located in the heart of Langford, BC in the Langford City Hall building. Pewarchuk CPA Inc. has many years of experience in income tax preparation and planning, accounting and assurance services for businesses, professionals and individuals.

The firm focuses on several key areas: corporate and personal taxes, compilation engagements (financial statement preparation), review engagements, family tax planning, owner-managed businesses, and corporate tax preparation and planning.

The firm has a broad range of clientele in various sectors of the economy. We specialize in owner-managed businesses, corporate groups and professionals including doctors, dentists, veterinarians, real estate agents, lawyers, etc.

We believe in a true work-life balance as noted in our 4-day work week for the majority of the year (May through January) as the office is closed Fridays.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
As an Accounting Technician your duties will include, but not be limited to:

- Preparation of T1 Individual Income Tax Returns;
- Preparation of T2 Corporate Income tax Returns;
- Preparation of corporate compilation engagements;
- Bookkeeping; and
- Completing payrolls for clients using SAGE 50.

**SKILLS REQUIRED**:

- Highest level of integrity and honesty;
- Two years experience preparing T1 and T2 Income Tax Returns
- Excellent communication and organizational skills;
- Strong computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word and Excel);
- Proficiency with CaseWare;
- Ability to multi-task;
- Detail oriented;
- Previous experience with SAGE 50 and QuickBooks/QuickBooks Online is prefer;
- Previous experience with TaxCycle is considered an asset; and
- Previous experience working in a CPA office is an asset.

**HOURS OF WORK**:
Our hours are Monday through Thursday 9:00am to 4:00pm with the potential for some additional hours on Fridays in March and April as required.

**COMPENSATION**:
Hourly compensation will be based on experience with a range of $25/hr. to $35/hr.

**OTHER**:

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 32 per week
