Pricing Analyst

Tarkett Sports has a great opportunity for a Pricing Analyst based in Montreal.

We are looking for a Pricing Analyst to join our talented team. Reporting to the Senior Analyst, the incumbent will support the Pricing and Reporting Team in providing analytical insight to pricing strategies on product offerings and competitive public bids, coordinate communication with Sales, Project Management, and Marketing to achieve these ends, and associated administrative tasks.

More specifically, you will have to:

- Maintains pricing activity reports, databases, pricing formulas and tables accordingly.
- Gathers relevant data by working with our salesforce to collect bid tabulations; input and manipulate the data to allow for complete analysis and identification of potential pricing issues.
- Teams with the Senior Analyst, Pricing and Reporting to provide clear, concise, and accurate responses to pricing requests. Acts as back up to the Pricing Analyst Team to effectively coordinate pricing requests.
- Communicates and interacts intra-departmentally with Sales, Operations, Marketing, IT and Finance.

Experience & Education Desired:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Math or other relevant discipline.
- 3+ years of experience performing analytical work; knowledge of construction bidding process an asset.

L’analyste junior, fixation des prix, appuiera l’équipe d’analystes, fixation des prix et production de rapports, dans la présentation de renseignements analytiques aux fins de stratégies de fixation des prix pour la présentation de produits et les offres publiques concurrentielles. De plus, le/la titulaire coordonnera les communications avec les services des ventes, de gestion de projets et de marketing pour atteindre ces objectifs et s’occupera des tâches administratives connexes.

S’occuper des rapports d’activités sur les prix, des bases de données, des méthodes pour établir les prix et des tableaux en conséquence ;

Recueillir des données pertinentes en travaillant avec notre force de vente afin d’obtenir un enregistrement des offres; entrer et manipuler des données pour effectuer des analyses complètes et relever de potentiels problèmes de prix ;

Collaborer avec l’analyste principale, fixation des prix et production de rapports, pour fournir des réponses claires, concises et exactes aux demandes de fixation des prix. Appuyer l’équipe pour coordonner de façon efficace les demandes de fixation des prix ;

Communiquer avec les services des ventes, de l’exploitation, du marketing, des TI et des finances et interagir avec ceux-ci.

Expérience et éducation souhaitées:

- Baccalauréat en administration des affaires, en finance, en économie, en mathématiques ou tout autre domaine pertinent ;
- 3+ ans d’expérience de travail analytique; la connaissance du processus d’appels d’offres de l’industrie de la construction constitue un atout ;
