Waterloo, Canada Waterloo Foot Clinic (Uptown) Full time

Hours Needed: Tuesdays 12:00pm-4:00pm

Duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

- Cleaning and set up of the treatment rooms, sterilization of instruments, and maintaining podiatric equipment
- Facilitating clinic workflow by bringing patients to rooms and communicating with practitioners and other staff member
- Assisting with therapeutic treatments (Shockwave, Ultrasound/Laser)
- Assisting with the proper setup of rooms for routine and surgical procedures
- Maintaining and updating patient records, scanning documents into patient files
- Ordering supplies and receiving incoming shipments
- Scheduling appointments and maintaining practitioner schedules
- Greeting and signing in patients when they enter the clinic
- Managing billing to patients and their insurance companies
- Regularly assisting our Pedorthists in our on-site Orthotic Lab
- Other duties as required

Qualifications:

- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work well within a team
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to perform a wide variety of duties

Experience and/or education in medical office assistant roles are an asset. We offer a welcoming work environment and opportunity for growth and development. Please note this position requires long periods of being on your feet, stairs, as well as some light lifting.

Pay: From $18.20 per hour

- 4 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
