As a team member working on site, you have an opportunity to collaborate with and continuously learn from the very best professionals in the iGaming industry. **Purpose**: We are seeking a Compliance Associate to join our Legal & Compliance Team, reporting to our Compliance Manager. As the Compliance Associate, you will be an integral part to help ensure that NSUS Group Inc. meets its compliance, and legal requirements in accordance with provincial and federal laws. You will ensure proper implementation and execution of Terms and Conditions, Privacy Policies and other related policies. You will support ongoing compliance and regulatory reporting in Ontario and in other jurisdictions where we operate. **Duties and Responsibilities**: - Build and support the compliance function for Ontario, U.K. and other markets - Support the ongoing compliance support and regulatory reporting in Ontario and other jurisdictions such as the UK - Create and manage internal controls and ensure compliance against such controls within the business - Proactively identify, action, and mitigate any compliance risks for the business - Review and draft on-site content such as Terms and Conditions, Privacy Policy, and other customer-facing documents - Answer questions and provide guidance to other business units such as Operations, Marketing, Customer Support, Product Payments & Fraud teams, and others as required - Communicate with and address the concerns of the regulators in a timely manner - Provide oversight of the change management process and ensure compliance with local regulators - Initiating and Responding to corporate due diligence requests in a timely manner - AML duties and responsibilities as may be required from time to time - Such other duties and responsibilities as may be required from time to time **Requirements**: - 3+ years of experience in the legal or compliance field - Degree or diploma from a recognized college or university - Excellent communication skills with fluent English - Any responsible gaming experience would be a bonus - Flexibility, versatility, and in a position to work in accordance with the demands of the business - Attention to detail - Strong prioritization and good decision-making skills, with the ability to manage a high volume of tasks - Tech-savvy with proficiency in with Google Suite (Docs, Slides, Sheets) or MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) - Ability to analyze and prioritize tasks - Good relationship-building skills **What We Like You to Have**: - A **passion for online gaming**, including poker and other casino games (or at the very least be interested to learn about them) and knowledge of the online gaming industry - **Integrity**: Being dependable and following through on commitments.
