Matrix is currently recruiting for experienced Class 3 Driver/Field Technician for a job opportunity in Richmond, B.C.

**Key Accountabilities**:

- You will safely operate various units, including but not limited to cube van, combo-vac truck, hi-ab crane truck, etc.; in diverse weather and challenging work site environments
- You will abide by all Waste Management and customer plant-specific safety procedures
- You will ensure all waste containers are labeled in accordance with TDG Regulations. (Drums -stick-on labels, Bags - in the pocket, Bins - wire tie label). You will ensure all labels are completed in full including shipping name, generator name, approval number, TDG Class, UN number, Packing Group number, load number, drum number, etc.
- You will inspect all waste materials to ensure compliance with manifest, recycle docket, and bill of lading descriptions.
- You are a team player.
- You will be able to communicate effectively daily with the Dispatch to maximize customer needs and Secure efficiency.

**What you will bring to the role**:

- Minimum of 3 years of driving experience in the transportation industry or demonstrated competency
- Solid knowledge base with respect to Hours of Service, load securement, and driving regulations
- Solid understanding of Canadian geography, highway systems, and remote oilfield locations
- Prior experience in roll-off and/or vacuum truck operation is considered an asset
- Class 1 or 3 Driver's license
- Hi-ab or vac truck experience
