**We are looking for a Line Cook to join the Ascari Enoteca Team**
**Location: 1111 Queen Street East, Toronto, Ontario**
Ascari Hospitality Group is a restaurant and event company based in Toronto, and named after 1950’s Formula One racing legend Alberto Ascari (who was equally famous for his appetite as he was for his talented racing).
The group comprises of three full service restaurants - Ascari Enoteca, Ascari King West, Gare de L'Est Brasserie; our boutique wine shop Mercatino E Vini and a full service events company. Our ethos is entrenched in food, wine and good people, which is evident in our carefully selected offerings, and genuine hospitality.

**Overview**
Ascari Enoteca is a pasta and wine bar located in Leslieville, serving handmade pastas and southern Italian dishes for nearly ten years. We are driven by our passion for food, wine, and people. We value a respectful work environment for all employees and strive to create memorable dining experiences for every guest.
If you have 2 years of high quality and relevant cook experience and enjoy working in a positive, team-oriented environment, we want to hear from you This is a full time position, 4 days a week, working a variety of stations including Garde Manger and Pasta.
**Responsibilities**:
- Contribute to delivering top quality food and service to all guests and team members
- Having ownership and accountability for food preparation and production, ensuring your station is ready for service
- Ensure consistency of product for all guests by way of portion control and plating standards set by the Chef de Cuisine
- Maintain a positive attitude when working with full kitchen team
- Follow safe food handling techniques as per Toronto public health and ensure clean and organized station
- Available to work weekends and nights
- Provide professional personalized service to guests, possess a proactive approach to exceed expectations

**Qualifications**:
- Minimum of 1-2 years of kitchen experience in a similar and relevant role
- Food Handler’s Certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong sense of urgency
- Ability to remain calm under pressure while working in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to multitask and prioritize duties
- Possesses strong organizational skills
- Passion for food and a desire to learn and grow

**Salary**: From $20.00 per hour
