PWO Canada is a Tier 1 and Tier 2 supplier for auto manufacturers globally. We are one of five subsidiaries in the PWO AG Group, manufacturing lightweight metal components for the automotive industry.

**PURPOSE OF POSITION**

The Supply Chain Analyst is responsible for ensuring customer orders are met in a timely manner by coordinating work and internal services as prescribed by the Logistics Manager. The position also ensures subcontracted parts are completed for shipping to customers.

**NATURE AND SCOPE OF POSITION**

Internal contacts include personnel in the Tooling, Production, Maintenance, Shipping and Receiving, and Quality departments. External contacts include suppliers, subcontractors and customers. The position prepares the scheduling of shipments and coordinates the services of others, as well as goods in order to meet this schedule. The incumbent is responsible for his/own work and monitors the work of others in order to ensure the schedule is met. If production goals are not met, the Manager is advised and the schedule is reassessed. Decisions made by this position impact the department in the short and medium term.

**QUALIFICATIONS**

**Education**: Post secondary education in related field such as Engineering/Production Planning and/or Materials Management/Supply chain preferred.

**Knowledge and Skills**: The incumbent must have a basic understanding, or is willing to learn, of production scheduling, shipping procedures and materials management. Organizational skills are essential. The position should have a good knowledge of ERP systems (SAP is an asset/desirable) and Microsoft Office(Strong excel skills, MS Power BI asset/desirable)

**Communication Skills**: Strong oral communication skills are essential in order to interact with tooling, production, suppliers and customers. Strong written skills are needed in order to produce reports and for normal technical/ business communication.

**Nature and Length of Experience**: At least one year of experience in a similar supply chain position or production planning in an automotive manufacturing environment is preferred.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Inventory management: Analysis of all inventory levels and execution of best practices
- Inventory Management: cycle count, reconcile physical and system inventory
- Responsible for third party logistics (shipping, receiving, and tracking) of IT resources, coordinating and assigning courier vendors based on customer demands and service requirements worldwide
- Manager the Shipment and receiving process, including follow-up and resolution
- Coordinate processes and tasks as for the Logistics dept.
- Coordinate the Warehouse tasks and activities
- Coordination of Supply chain task and projects with the other depts.
- Other supply chain duties as assigned.
