**Position Overview: 3D Mechanical Drafter**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Create accurate **2D and 3D fabrication drawings**for custom HVAC units using **AutoCAD**and **Autodesk Inventor**.
- Design and detail **sheet metal and skid layouts**for production.
- Understand the operation of HVAC systems, including **electric motor-driven fans, blowers**:

- Mange the projects from inception to completion
- Strong attention to detail, ability to work under tight deadlines, and excellent organizational skills.
- Work independently to complete tasks with mínimal supervision.

**Qualifications**:

- **3-5 years of experience**in equipment design or mechanical drafting in a **manufacturing environment**.
- **Ability to produce detailed and accurate Shop drawings with AutoCAD 2D**:

- Proficient in **AutoCAD (Level II or III preferred)**with the ability to work in 3D model space.
- **3+ years**experience with **Autodesk Inventor**:

- Previous work with **HVAC, air handling units**, or **sheet metal fabrication**is preferred.
- Must have **Canadian work experience**in a technical or manufacturing setting.
