**Yard location: Saskatoon** **Working shifts**:Monday to Friday** **No Weekends** **No Statutory Holidays** **Shift Start time: 6AM** **The Owner Operator will drive a 3** **ton Refridgerated (Reefer) truck** **Average earning potential up to $8,000.00+ monthly** **What you will get**: - Competitive pay package (includes Fuel surcharge, Reefer payment/ maintenance fee, Pay for additional delivery outside of route area and more..) - Paid Comprehensive training program - Home daily; No long haul or US deliveries - Daily set routes _**City of Saskatoon and surrounding areas**_ - Dispatch support - Paid bi-monthly - Direct Deposit into bank account - Driver Safety Awards - Driver Referral bonus - up to $1,500.00 total payout - Secured lot for Truck parking - Uniform allowance - 24/7 Secured free employee parking - Consistent and steady work **What you will do**: - _**Drive a 3 ton Reefer Commercial Truck**_ to deliver and or pick up freights to assigned stops within _**City of Saskatoon and surrounding areas**_ - _**Multi-drop deliveries**_ - Deliver & Pickup freights in good condition and within scheduled time - _**Load and Unload freight in proper sequence with the use of a dolley and or pallet truck (Lift up to 70lbs)**_ - Use a handheld device to scan documents and freights - Complete any necessary paperwork accurately - Perform all safety checks, including pre-trip and post-trip inspection - Report on all safety hazards and accidents - Use a cellular phone to communicate with Manager/Dispatcher ie. Truck breakdowns, delivery concerns, answer calls, texts etc. - Provide excellent customer service and build strong client relationships - Adhere to safety and compliance regulations - Additional duties as required - **What we require of you**:_ - Minimum valid Class 5 driver’s license required - Must have a minimum two (2) years clean/safe _**Commercial TRUCK Driving **_experience - Reefer, Courier or LTL experience is an asset - Able to load and unload freight weighing up to 70lbs with the use of freight handling equipment - _**Provide a clean detailed Commercial Driver’s Abstract (province equivalent) and or a Personal Driver’s Abstract (one pulled within the last 30 days)**_ - _**Provide own Criminal Background Search results (one pulled within the last 30 days)**_ - _Provide proof of a _**"Limited or Incorporation"**_ _legal Business Name_ - Leasing options available _**or**_ Provide your own 3 ton reefer straight truck (with a tailgate preferable) - _**Equipment must meet company's required specifications and approved by fleet manager**_ - _**Must have a Reefer unit with heating for Winter and Summer**_ - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Positive and enthusiastic attitude with a commitment to provide World Class Service **1.
