Job Summary

We are looking for an energetic and enthusiastic RA to join our team. We are a Reggio Emilia daycare centre with a very group-oriented atmosphere in Coquitlam, BC. New staff must be willing to collaborate, must enjoy working with children, and be prepared to be a part of our community.

Responsibilities and Duties Job Description for Responsible Adult (RA) (includes but is not limited to):

- Planning and implementing classroom activities for children indoors and outdoors
- Being flexible working in all programs and hours
- Maintaining a clean and safe environment for children
- Collaborating with other staff members on program initiatives
- Creating a positive setting for children to learn
- Design and develop learning programs to facilitate children's emotional, cognitive, social, and physical growth
- Communicate with parents regarding their children(s)' development via reporting
- Supervise indoor and outdoor play (including field trips)
- Release children to authorized parent/guardian.

Qualifications of Responsible Adult (RA) include:

- Completed a **minimum of 20 hours of related training in childcare for**Responsible Adult** title
- Up to date **Emergency** **First Aid Certification** and Criminal Record Check are required
- At least 1 year of experience working with children
- 2 - 3 References
- Doctor's note of good health

Parkland Players offers:

- Rate: Dependent on experience level. Hourly rate ranges from $16 and up for ECEA, and $18 and up for ECE.
- Pay is reviewed annually for all staff and different factors determine pay awards and raises.
- Wage Enhancement program for valid ECE

- After one full year of employment two weeks paid vacation available
