**The Opportunity**:
Red River Co-op is recruiting for the position of Cashier at our Seasons Food Store located at 755 Sterling Lyon Pkwy, in Winnipeg. This position reports to the Front End Manager. The Cashier adds value to our Co-operative by providing exemplary customer service that is fast, friendly and efficient to all of our members.

Essential responsibilities of the position include the following:

- Operate a cash register, take payment from customers and provide change.
- Deliver fast and friendly service to members and customers.
- Educate customers on the benefits of membership in Red River Co-op and encourage them to join.

**About You**:
To be successful in this role, you will bring the following skills and competencies:

- Excellent interpersonal skills. We’re looking for someone who builds great relationships with co-workers and customers.
- Strong customer focus and interest in serving others.
- Good mental math skills.
- Experience working in a retail environment. Specifically, experience handling cash would be an asset.
