Prado Café currently has a Kitchen position open at our bustling Fir Street Café location. We are looking for an enthusiastic, friendly team-player with full time availability.

We are looking for someone who has experience working in a café, or in any other food service role. As long as you are willing to learn, are a hard worker and good at multi-tasking, we can provide you with the training to excel in your role.

An experience in a kitchen OR have attended/are currently attending culinary school is preferred but not necessary.

Our menu is fairly simple and a great place to start for people who are just getting into to the cooking field. That being said, the job is not boring You will be working in a fast-paced environment where your multi-tasking and organizational skills will be a great asset. It's also important that you understand how important it is to present food in an appealing way for our guest.

The Café menu consists mainly of poached eggs on top of toast. We also have sandwiches that are pre-made at our commissary and re-heated on the panini grill. Our baked goods are prepared at our commissary and simply baked on site.
- Be fast and efficient with an eye for detail
- Be mature and confident when working alone
- Have good problem solving skills
- Have excellent communication and customer service skills

Hourly rate: $16.25 + $4-5 tips
