Porter

The Beacon Pub & Eatery are looking to expand our front of house team and looking to recruit a part-time Bar Porter.

The Bar Porter is a key support role integral to the success of the front of house operations. Working in support of the Bartender and Bar Manager, the Bar Porter performs a variety of essential tasks with a focus on upholding consistency and high standards of quality in all front of house operations.

Some of the duties that you will be required to complete, but not limited to, include:

- Assist the bar and front of house team with timely delivery and clearing of food and beverages to all customers, including vacated tables.
- Responsible for ensuring that all drinks purchased from the bar are garnished to the desired specifications.
- Throughout your shift read and update the bar logbook with any relevant communication or operational changes are noted and the appropriate team members are notified.
- Ensure that the bar is stocked accordingly and appropriately for volume needs and par levels.
- Take ownership of the bar area and ensure that it remains professional and functional at all times.
- Responsible for the full execution of opening and closing checklists for the bar area.

This role requires an energetic, positive team member with a drive to execute all job functions with a high quality of service, attention to detail, responsiveness, and the ability to incorporate feedback into personal development.
