Camrose, Canada Camrose Open Door Association Full time

The Open Doors is currently recruiting a O.5 FTE **Navigator **to work within the Integrated Youth Hub. This position includes the following;
- Provide support for youth that are accessing services.
- Triage needs, requirements and resources for individual.
- Coordinate service plans for youth and young adults.
- Complete assessments and referrals for youth and their families, as required.
- Be familiar with local, regional and provincial resources and referrals.
- Provide access to other programming and community supports.

**Requirements**:

- Demonstrate a genuine concern for the youth of our community.
- Be familiar with all aspects of case management.
- Be able to work as a contributing member of a team both within and outside the organization.
- Be able to initiate collaborative conversations with youth.
- Be able to advocate with and for individuals, agencies and community partners.
- Hold a valid driver’s license.
- Be able to proficiently use Microsoft Word, Excel and Gmail.
- Be able to proficiently use and text on a cell phone.
- Understand rural and remote service delivery barriers.
- Have a demonstrated knowledge and practice of harm reduction, trauma informed care, holistic and integrated response.
- Have strong interpersonal boundaries.

**Certifications**

Diploma/ Degree in Social Work, Psychology or equivalent.

First Aid Certification

Criminal Record Check

ASIST or suicide intervention trained

Non-Violent Crisis Intervention/ Deescalating Potentially Violent Situations trained.

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: $25,000.00-$27,500.00 per year

Schedule:

- Flexible

- Camrose, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

License/Certification:

- Driver's license
- First Aid Certification (preferred)
