Advise on relevant US/Canada cross border tax issues
- Communicate with Internal Revenue Service and state tax authorities
- Be part of a team to determine the most relevant US corporate structure and the related operational and tax issues. Tax planning and compliance for US Citizens living in Canada
- Research and advise on other US tax planning opportunities related to US Estate and Gift TaxAs a Manager, Cross Border Personal Tax your responsibilities will include:
- Taking a leading role in managing and growing our US personal tax/global mobility services practice. - Proactively provide tax advice and solutions to clients to expand the business
- Supervising and reviewing the work of junior associates for accuracy and completeness
- Managing and mentoring staff - Review personal US income tax returns - Collaboration with team members in Tax and Assurance groups
