As a Caregiver, you will provide exceptional care and support to our clients in the community.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide personal care and assistance with daily living activities (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Perform homemaking tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation
- Accompany clients to appointments and community activities
- Monitor and report changes in client's health and well-being
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client care and report any changes in condition to the supervising nurse or case manager.
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment for clients and yourself
- Complete other tasks as required

**Expected Requirements**:

- Clear Vulnerable Sector Check
- First Aid Certificate
- Reliable mode of transportation
- Completion of a recognized Personal Support Worker program or equivalent education and experience
- TLR (Transferring, Lifting, Repositioning) Certificate

**Preferred Requirements**:

- Dementia care training and experience is preferred
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Six (6) months of relevant work experience
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proof of full and current COVID-19 vaccination

COVID-19 considerations: All staff must wear masks while in client's home. All staff will be provided with a home care kit with PPE.

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: From $18.00 per hour
