Reporting to the Director of Finance, the Accounting Analyst will assist our finance department in full cycle accounting with a large focus on month end & treasury. This individual is able to work effectively in a team environment, is focused on results and is a strong communicator.
- Monthly financial statement preparations
- Prepare month-end schedules with adjustments for prepaids, fixed assets, loans, accruals, inventory
- Daily bank reconciliation & cash forecasting
- Expense tracking and appropriate departmental allocations
- Intercompany reconciliations
- HST filings
- Trend & variance analysis
- Support other administrative functions as required

Competencies:

- Minimum 5 year's progressive Accounting experience
- Has attained or is working towards CPA certification
- Experience with data analysis to identify trends, anomalies, etc.
- Ability and desire to build reports and analysis tools
- Advanced Excel skills
- Full cycle accounting experience
- Experience with treasury and bank transactions
- Epicor system experience an asset
