We are a small family owned business that has a very low turnover rate and are looking for someone to grow with the company and contribute in a positive way to our team. We primarily do tenant improvement work in the downtown Vancouver area but are not limited to the downtown core as we take on a variety of different work all over the lower mainland. We do our best to have a variety of jobs on the go so you are never stuck in one place for any long period of time keeping the day interesting and exciting.

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Journeyperson Plumber to join our team. As a Journeyperson Plumber, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in residential and commercial buildings. Your expertise in schematics, HVAC, and mechanical knowledge will be essential in ensuring the efficient operation of plumbing systems.

A fully loaded work van and gas card will be provided as well as the majority of the necessary equipment needed to operate at a high efficiency level.

**Responsibilities**:

- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems according to building codes and specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine the layout and configuration of plumbing systems
- Assemble and install pipes, fittings, valves, and fixtures
- Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure proper coordination of work
- Inspect plumbing systems to identify issues and perform necessary repairs or replacements
- Test plumbing systems for leaks using pressure gauges and other specialized equipment
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used
- Layout and run your own jobsite in a clean and professional manner

**Experience**:

- Journeyman/Journeywoman Plumber license or equivalent certification
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints
- Strong knowledge of plumbing codes and regulations
- Ability to use hand tools effectively for various plumbing tasks

**Skills**:

- Proficient in reading schematics and understanding complex plumbing systems
- Ability to maintain, repair, and troubleshoot HVAC components related to plumbing systems
- Soldering and brazing of copper pipe, use of ProPress and MegaPress
- Familiarity with a wide range of power tools used in plumbing installations and repairs
- Blueprint reading skills to understand the layout of plumbing systems within buildings
- Ability to assemble pipes, fittings, valves, and fixtures accurately

Pay: $35.00-$50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 50 per week
