Ancaster, Canada Ctrl V Full time

**ABOUT CTRL V** Ctrl V is the original virtual reality arcade — and we're not just offering games, we're offering fully immersive, mind-blowing experiences that leave people raving. With locations across Canada and a pioneering spirit, we don’t just follow the industry, we built it. We're not here to babysit mediocre performance. We're building something special, and we want the kind of person who walks in ready to raise the bar — not just meet it. We’re looking for a **Customer Service Specialist** who doesn’t just like people — you _love_ delivering unforgettable guest experiences. You're the first impression, the calming voice, the tech whisperer, and the energy of the room. Whether you're helping a nervous first-timer feel at ease or geeking out with a VR pro about their favourite zombie level, your job is to make sure everyone leaves saying, "That. Was. Insane." **THE OPPORTUNITY** This isn’t a "stand-behind-the-counter-and-stare-at-your-phone" job. This is a fast-paced, high-energy, guest-focused role where you’re helping people step into other worlds — literally. You’ll guide players through their virtual journey from check-in to check-out, help them troubleshoot headsets, and make sure everything stays clean, charged, and ready for the next wave of adventurers. We’re a tight team. We work together, cover for each other, and keep things running smoothly no matter how wild the Saturday afternoon rush gets. If you're looking for a chill gig where you can coast through your shift, this ain't it. We want **A-players only**. Hustlers. People who take pride in showing up, delivering every time, and making the team around them better. If you treat every customer interaction like a championship game, you might just be Ctrl V material. **WHAT YOU'LL DO** - Greet guests and check them in for their sessions - Assign VR stations and assist with waiver sign-offs - Walk guests through equipment setup and controls - Provide friendly, knowledgeable in-game support - Troubleshoot hardware/software issues like a low-key VR technician - Clean headsets and stations between uses - Handle bookings, refunds, and POS transactions - Perform opening/closing procedures and daily cleaning tasks - Tidy up the arcade like it's your own personal command center **WHAT YOU BRING** - Next-level customer service skills — seriously, you make people feel awesome - Solid English communication skills (oral & written) - Quick thinking and problem-solving under pressure - Calm multitasking when it's busy, with laser-like focus when it matters - Comfort with light physical work (like climbing a 3-step ladder) - Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays - A team-first attitude and willingness to learn - A mindset that says "good enough" is never good enough **HOW TO APPLY** "Ctrl V Ancaster Customer Service Specialist Position" **BUT DON'T STOP THERE.** If you really want to stand out (and you should), send us a short video — 1 minute max — introducing yourself and answering this: *"Why are YOU the kind of person we want in our VR arcade?" Be real. Be bold. Show us your energy. We’re not looking for a script, we’re looking for someone who shows up and shows out. **Ctrl V isn’t just a place to work. It’s a launchpad for people who want to lead with excellence, think fast on their feet, and make magic in every guest interaction.** If you’re ready to bring energy, creativity, and hustle — then suit up. Let’s make some memories. **Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Casual Pay: $17.20 per hour Expected hours: 5 - 20 per week **Benefits**: - Company events - Flexible schedule - On-site parking - Store discount Flexible language requirement: - French not required Schedule: - 4 hour shift - 8 hour shift - Day shift - Evening shift - Every Weekend - Holidays - Monday to Friday - No weekends - On call - Weekends as needed - Weekends only Ability to commute/relocate: - Ancaster, ON L9G 1N1: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) **Language**: - English (required) Work Location: In person Expected start date: 2025-07-01
