**About the Role**

As a **Dental Assistant**, you’ll be an essential part of our patient care team, assisting our dentist in delivering top-quality dental care. If you're passionate about dentistry, have experience in dental assisting, and are looking for a **friendly, professional, and stable work environment**, we’d love to hear from you

**Duties**:

- Assist the dentist during dental procedures
- Help in ordering clinical supplies
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Provide chairside assistance to the dentist
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care
- Maintain accurate patient records
- Schedule patient appointments and manage the office calendar
- Perform dental receptionist duties as needed

**Experience**:
To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications and skills:

- Previous experience as a Dental Assistant
- Ordering clinical supplement
- Proficiency in AbelDent or similar dental software such as Open Dental
- Knowledge of orthodontics, pediatrics, CAD/CAM technology (such as CEREC), and medical terminology is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities

**Job Overview**

**Duties**
- Assist dentists during examinations and procedures by preparing necessary instruments and materials.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
- Maintain accurate patient records and manage appointment scheduling using Dentrix or similar software.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene, post-operative care, and treatment plans.
- Sterilize instruments and maintain cleanliness in the treatment areas to adhere to safety protocols.
- Handle administrative tasks such as billing, insurance verification, and patient follow-ups.
- Support pediatric patients with a friendly demeanor, ensuring their comfort during visits.
- Collaborate with orthodontists for treatment planning and patient management when necessary.

**Experience**
- Previous experience in dental assisting is preferred, with familiarity in medical terminology being advantageous.
- Proficiency in using dental software such as Dentrix or Epic is highly desirable.
- A background in dental reception duties will be beneficial for managing front office responsibilities effectively.
