Ground Effects is looking for a **Customer Data Specialist** in **Windsor, Ontario. **Ground Effects Ltd. has dedicated itself to excellence since 1986 and has evolved into a multi-faceted supplier of quality interior/exterior accessory components for the automotive industry and more.

The **Customer Data Specialist** is responsible for maintaining accurate pricing in the GFX enterprise resource planning system. The customer data specialist will take a lead-role in managing the life-cycle of production and service parts; verify correct pricing for all parts; and manage the end-of-life process for all parts by working with the finance and production team to identify obsolete parts and old or unused customer-owned assets/tools for disposition.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (Finance preferred)
- 3 to 5 years’ experience as master user of ERP systems
- Advanced level Excel, Pivots, data presentation and analysis. Some basic accounting knowledge (Asset tracking, General Ledger, Accounts Receivable)
- Strong ability to work in a fast-paced environment and change direction quickly dependent on tasks.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills to communicate with all organizational levels within the company.
- OEM System familiarity
- System (ERP/Epicor)
- Standard quote to cash process

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Data maintenance for main Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system and for other related systems
- Leverage relationships and be able to develop a system that maintains integrity of data and pricing in our ERP system (EPICOR)
- Access customer portals and download the latest P.O s, pricing contracts and other relevant features
- Develop policy and procedures around Tooling, Asset tag etc.
- Support Finance, Tool and Die, as well as OEM Account Managers to bill customer-owned tooling in a timely and accurate manner. (Coordinate customer rules for invoicing tools and ensure GFX is meeting requirements)
- Create, maintain, and manage the start of production, end of regular production dates, and end of service life dates for all on-going OEM part numbers.
- Create and maintain a “hit list” of outdated, unprofitable, or end-of-life products and work with OEM Account Managers and Production to coordinate the orderly discontinuance of these parts (Obsolete, All-time-buy, Build and Hold)
- Assist Finance, Cost Estimating and Account Managers as directed / needed with specific tasks and research related to quoting, invoicing and new product development.
- Conduct periodic audits of master data changes, redundant data (duplicates), stale data.
- Maintain and update sales and customer records.
- Research information for incomplete data or documentation
- Respond to queries for relevant information from management, customers, etc.
- Develop ERP training programs and provide support for new and existing users.
- Comply with data integrity and security policies.
- Control Master Data
- Manage document retention policy.
- Supporting the department with other administrative tasks, if requested.
- Compile information from multiple departments within the organization, i.e., Finance, Purchasing, Sales, Product Development, etc.
- SDS generation/confirmation/validation
- Other duties as assigned

- Monday to Friday
