**About Us**
**About the Role**
We are seeking a **Utility Clerk / Office Assistant** who is detail-oriented, adaptable, and enjoys variety in their workday. This role starts as a 3-month temporary position to cover a short-term absence and could lead to a permanent position with our team.
**What You’ll Be Doing**
For the 3-month term, you’ll be approving, processing, and posting utility bills to tenant accounts (attention to detail and accuracy is crucial) and assisting with general office tasks as needed. You’ll be working with a supportive team in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
**Qualifications**
- Graduation from a business college
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in an office environment (property management experience or strong interest in the field is an asset)
- Able to quickly learn and work with new software and various office/website platforms
- Able to stay focused and organized even when things are busy or distracting
- Assertive, tactful, and courteous when dealing with a customer base that is diverse in personalities and backgrounds
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills
- Comfortable working in a dog-friendly office
