JOB OVERVIEW

The **Content Creator** will be a part-time member of the Periphery Content Team. You will have the opportunity to create Chinese content for our amazing clients from different industries in Metro Vancouver.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Understand different clients’ brand requirements, tone and manner, and language styles
- Write WeChat advertorials and articles for various industries like real estate, fashion, education, etc.
- Craft appealing headlines for advertorials and WeChat account articles
- Meet writing deadlines as assigned by editors
- Ensure high quality content creation with no grammar and spelling mistakes
- Generate, research, and pitch advertorial ideas
- Proofread articles for grammar, style, and quality
- Provide ad copy, brochure, and website translations as needed

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

**Qualifications**
- Fluent in speaking and writing both English and Mandarin
- Proven record of writing or editing experience is a must
- Strong writing, editing and proofreading skills in Chinese and English
- Good knowledge of marketing communications principles, practices and techniques
- Experience in using WeChat and Weibo
- Comfortable with remote work tools and strong ability to learn systems quickly (Scoro, Google Suite, etc.)

**Bonus Points**:

- Experience in creating real estate advertorials is preferred
- Writing and proofreading traditional Chinese is preferred
