Onsite Caretaker/property Manager

Live-in property caretaker in Gibsons, BC. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled individual or couple with versatile skills. In this role, you will oversee the general property management, cleaning and guest service for three guest suites and one residential unit. As an experienced property caretaker, you bring hands-on knowledge of keeping safe, clean, attractive buildings and landscaping. You understand the importance of providing an outstanding guest experience, as positive reviews are important to the property’s success.
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to, on-site guest relations, cleaning suites and general maintenance of buildings and landscaping. You enjoy working within the hospitality industry, have a strong attention to detail, and have excellent organizational skills. You must be physically able to lift up to 25 kg and able to complete the physical activities associated with cleaning and general building and landscaping maintenance. Additionally, you must be able to communicate in English effectively. Ideally, you possess a current valid driver’s license and vehicle that can be used for work purposes, with mileage reimbursed.

This is a 12-month term. Your hours are flexible based on the guest’s schedules and are anticipated to fluctuate seasonally.
