This customer-facing role has the crucial responsibility of making our passengers feel safe and secure as they travel from coast to coast.The Day to Day:Ensure the safety and security of ferry terminal and onboard vesselsAct as a visible security presence and deterrent to support a safe environmentEngage with the public to provide assistance, direction, and exceptional customer servicePerform security procedures including unlock/lock-up checks and routine inspectionsOperate communication tools such as radios and escalate incidents as necessaryIdentify, report, and help mitigate safety hazardsSupport passenger safety and satisfaction during coast-to-coast travelWhat you bring:BC Security LicenseExcellent communication skillsComfortable with radio communicationAbility to write reports on job-related activitiesComfort working independently and in varying weather conditionsPunctuality and reliabilityPhysically capable of standing and walking for a duration of 8 hoursWho we are:At Securiguard we believe in living and acting by our values: R.E.A.C.H.Respect · Empathy · Accountability · Courtesy & · HonestyWe're in the business of making people feel safe.
