**Job Overview**

**Duties**
- Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared in advance.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
- Maintain patient records accurately, including medical history and treatment plans, using software such as Abeldent
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care to promote overall dental health.
- Manage appointment scheduling and patient flow within the office, functioning effectively as both a dental assistant and receptionist when necessary.
- Sterilize instruments and maintain cleanliness of the treatment area in accordance with safety regulations.
- Support pediatric and orthodontic procedures by preparing appropriate materials and assisting with specialized equipment when required.
- Stay updated on advancements in dental technology, including CAD systems, to enhance practice efficiency.

**Qualifications**
- Proficiency in using dental software such as Abeldent is advantageous.
- Familiarity with medical terminology related to dentistry is essential.
- Experience in pediatrics or orthodontics is a plus but not mandatory.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
- Certification in dental assisting or completion of an accredited program is preferred but not required.
