**How You'll Perform the Role**
- Responsible for the implementation and creation of the follow-up of the prevention plan, policies and procedures, while ensuring compliance with the regulations and standards in force within the corporation as well as all laws governing health and safety at work
- Good labor relations management
- Provide day-to-day support to managers and employees for all questions relating to health and safety at work
- Actively participate in accident investigations, safety registrations and audits within the plant, the development and follow-up of corrective measures, the implementation of an emergency plan
- See to the complete and effective training of employees on the various issues related to health, safety and the environment.
- Ensures the maintenance and entry of all information into the computer system
- Inspect facilities and machinery
- Consult health and safety guides and standards
- Carry out tests on the inventory of fixtures
- Write reports on findings and CSST
- Chair the OHS committee
- All other related tasks

**What We Need From You**
- At least 2 years in a Health and Safety position, preferably in the field of plant manufacturing **or** have a Certificate Health and Safety
- Bilingual in French **and** English
- Anility to coach and train a team on health and safety policies and procedures
- Positive and dynamic attitude focused on communications and courtesy
- Excellent communication skills and writing skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Experience in CNESST file management
