Facility Manager

The Facility Manager will be responsible for all day-to-day activities of the plant including:
- Ensure that Facility operations, inclusive of Capital Projects, are conducted safely and at a minimum meet all regulatory / legal safety requirements.
- Responsible for the management and oversite of all staff on-site.
- Oversee coordination of all site construction / capital project activities, inclusive of planning, engineering / design, approvals / permits, etc., ensuring safe construction project (s) delivery on-time and on-budget.
- Maintain an up-to-date database of all Company construction contractors.
- As instructed by TUQ4 - develop individual project work scopes, acquiring project bids / quotes, acquire TUQ4 project approval prior to proceeding, delivery coordination, acquisition of all required permits / approvals, project budget management
- Supervise all contractors when on-site and ensure Safety measures meeting all requirements are maintained.
- Completion of Daily progress reports.
- Maintain an up-to-date list of all Company service providers.
- Ensure receipt of all account payable requests from all service providers to Company.
- Complete weekly payable summaries.
- Based on approved Payables Summary, ensure approved payments are complete; prepare cheques for TUQ4 review / signature, prepare stamped payment envelope, and ensure cheque payment is mailed to recipients.
- Ensure all Customer receivable information, including the Customer approved Company services quotation / agreement, is maintained.
- Ensure all weigh-scale and subcontracted service information required to produce daily Company invoices is accurately gathered and maintained.
- Track invoice payment and assist Company with invoice payment recovery.
- Ensure an up-to-date copy of the Company “Daily Log” form is maintained.
- Ensure daily operation log is completed and maintained.
- Report any daily site upsets to TUQ4 immediately.
- Assist TUQ4 with any required site upset(s) mitigative measures planning, actions, and reporting.
- Ensure facility operates in accordance with all terms and conditions of the Operating approval.
- Ensure all on-site equipment is maintained in operational condition and maintenance is completed on schedule.
**Qualifications**
- Experience managing similar plants/facilities.
- Experience in construction an asset.
- Excellent communication, written and computer skills.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Able to handle emergency situations, work pressures and stress.
- Ability to identify hazards.
- A degree in engineering, science or business administration an asset.
**Salary**: $80,000.00-$110,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
Supplemental pay types:
- Bonus pay

- Nanticoke, ON N0A 1L0: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
