Camp Arowhon is looking for a full-time summer staff member to join the maintenance team. Live on site in beautiful Algonquin Park with all meals provided.
We are looking for someone who has at least some experience in building construction, wage is reflected directly based on experience. Our site has over 100 buildings including new construction every spring. Great fit for someone looking to further their skills or looking for a change of scenery.

**Primary Job Description**:

- Grounds maintenance including small repairs like fixing railings, roofing repairs, doorways, all the way up to framing new construction.

**Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities**
- Handling heavy loads
- Physically demanding
- 8 hour shifts, 6 days a week (48 hrs total)
- Staff accommodation and meals provided (Room and Board)

**Additional Skills**
- carpentry, plumbing, electrical, landscaping/tree felling, truck or boat mechanic, and masonry are all skillsets used on site and any of the above would be a great asset to the team.

**Required**
The nature of your job requires that you have proof of the following:

- Criminal Record Check
- A valid driver’s permit
- Proof of Covid-19 Vaccination

**About Camp Arowhon**:
Over 100 buildings with ~550 people living on site in summer months. Full hydro and water to cabins, all meals cooked and served in Main Lodge building. A summer camp for kids aged 5-14 in July and August and school groups/weddings in spring and fall.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 3 months

Pay: $17.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 48 per week
