**The Opportunity**

We are hiring people who have experience working in a manufacturing facility to ensure quality products are produced for our customers. You will be working in a team environment, where good communication skills are essential. You will ensure production targets are met and that you and your co-workers are working safely. Daily physical requirements are pushing, pulling, lifting, moving, stacking through various machines. Job repetition and hot work environment are part of the working conditions.

**Responsibilities**:

- Set up, monitor the machine production and make adjustments as needed
- Ensure required productivity goals are achieved
- Control quality and waste while maintaining housekeeping standards
- Review schedule and complete necessary documentation
- Recommend improvements to operations and support continuous improvements efforts
- Flexible to perform other duties as assigned
- Work as part of a progressive team to achieve production KPIs - Set-up times, Feeds/hour, feeds/shift
- Operate machinery in a safe and controlled manner including but not limited to industrial machinery, forklifts and conveyor systems
- Demonstrated ability to work safely utilizing safe work guidelines and established safe work practices
- Demonstrated ability to perform quality checks on finished product
- A minimum education level of a high school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a manufacturing environment working on production machinery
- Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs on a repetitive basis
- Must be mechanically and mathematically inclined
- Ability to read production specification sheets
- Must be computer literate - previous work experience with CTI will be considered an asset
- An energetic, enthusiastic and goal oriented approach

**Experience**:

- Machine Operator: 1 year (preferred)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $23.08-$32.25 per hour
