Are you passionate about the outdoors and love sharing the wonders of Canada’s landscapes with others? North Adventures is looking for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Adventure Tour Guide to join our team. As an Adventure Tour Guide, you’ll lead groups on unique, all-inclusive experiences, from skiing and snowmobiling to safaris in some of Canada’s most scenic areas.
**Responsibilities**:
- Lead and guide small to medium-sized groups on various adventure tours, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all guests.
- Provide engaging, informative commentary about the locations, activities, and local wildlife during tours.
- Assist with guest safety, equipment handling, and troubleshooting any issues that may arise during the tours.
- Communicate with the North Adventures team to ensure a seamless experience, from pick-up to drop-off.
- Foster a positive and welcoming atmosphere, building rapport with guests and addressing their needs.
**Requirements**:
- Previous experience as a tour guide or in a related outdoor/adventure role.
- Strong knowledge of outdoor safety practices, including first aid certification (preferred).
- Ability to ski is essential; experience in other outdoor sports is an asset.
- Bilingual or trilingual (English required, French preferred, other languages an asset).
- Valid driver’s license (company vehicle available for tours).
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with an outgoing and adaptable personality.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

**Description du Poste : Guide de Tour d'Aventure**
Vous êtes passionné(e) par le plein air et aimez partager les merveilles des paysages canadiens avec les autres ? North Adventures recherche un guide de tour d'aventure enthousiaste et compétent pour rejoindre notre équipe. En tant que guide de tour d'aventure, vous dirigerez des groupes dans des expériences uniques et tout inclus, allant du ski et de la motoneige aux safaris dans certains des plus beaux endroits du Canada.
**Responsabilités**:
- Diriger et guider des groupes de petite à moyenne taille lors de divers tours d’aventure, en veillant à offrir une expérience sécurisée et agréable pour tous les invités.
- Fournir des commentaires engageants et informatifs sur les lieux, les activités et la faune locale pendant les tours.
- Aider à assurer la sécurité des invités, la gestion de l'équipement, et résoudre tout problème éventuel durant les excursions.
- Communiquer avec l'équipe de North Adventures pour assurer une expérience fluide, de la prise en charge au retour.
- Favoriser une ambiance positive et accueillante, en établissant des liens avec les invités et répondant à leurs besoins.
**Exigences**:
- Expérience préalable en tant que guide touristique ou dans un rôle extérieur/d’aventure similaire.
- Solide connaissance des pratiques de sécurité en plein air, y compris une certification de premiers secours (préférée).
- La capacité de skier est essentielle ; l'expérience dans d'autres sports de plein air est un atout.
- Bilingue ou trilingue (anglais requis, français préféré, autres langues un atout).
- Permis de conduire valide (véhicule de la société disponible pour les tours).
- Excellentes compétences interpersonnelles, avec une personnalité dynamique et adaptable.
- Capacité à travailler selon un horaire flexible, incluant les week-ends et jours fériés.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $15.75-$30.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 8 per week
